The Final Outcome from the first year of the Bachelor of Animation course at SAE.  Using;
- Maya 2017 for Asset Modeling,
- Krita for texturing &,
- Unreal Engine for scene construction, lighting and final render

Project Midnight Heist is a 4 part bullet time camera tracking film through the events of a bank robbery which ends in a fatal car crash.  The Paramedic's Point Of View is the final part of the project concluding with the paramedics tending the injured and dealing with the deceased.

My Role: Project Leader

  • as project leader, I was required to communicate with the other project leaders to ensure the parts of the project all fit the intended story as well as manage my section to ensure our POV was completed.
  • Layout Artist: as the layout artist, I was in charge of setting out the floor plan and the statement of the assets and in conjunction to my project leader role, I delegated the staging and asset generation to all members of the team.
  • Character Development: Although the assessment did not require characters we found it less effective to tell the story of the paramedics without seeing the paramedics and civilians.  As such, I generated 2 animation ready base characters (male and female) for the whole production to take advantage of.  In addition to creating a paramedic uniform and 3 civilian attires for both male and female characters (8 clothes characters totals).
